The Arkansas Valley Adventure Outpost is located at 40671 US Hwy 24 N. Buena Vista, CO 81211. This outpost—13 miles north of Buena Vista and 4 miles south of Granite—makes for an easy and beautiful drive from Aspen, Vail, Summit County, Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. No matter where you are, Arkansas Valley Adventures has a Colorado whitewater rafting trip for you.
All Colorado whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River leave from this outpost (except for Summit Arkansas River trips, which include transportation from Keystone or Breckenridge).
In addition to Colorado whitewater rafting trips, Arkansas Valley Adventures offers guided rock climbing, fly fishing and horseback riding trips in the Arkansas Valley.
Prior to your Colorado whitewater rafting trip on the Arkansas River, Arkansas Valley Adventures recommends camping out the night before at one of our onsite campsites, or staying in one of our rustic log cabins. Each cabin sleeps either four or five people.
After your Colorado whitewater rafting trip you are welcome to use the Arkansas Valley Adventure facility showers and changing rooms provided.

If you hadn’t had enough and there is still time left in the day, the staff at Arkansas Valley Adventures would be happy to point you in the right direction for a scenic hike. Or maybe you want to relax after your Colorado whitewater rafting trip; we will send you off to soak in the natural Hot Springs just down the road from the Arkansas Valley Adventure Outpost.
The Idaho Springs/Clear Creek office is located at 1319 Miner St. Idaho Springs, CO 80452. All Clear Creek Colorado whitewater rafting trips leave from this office. For those of you adventure seekers who are on a time crunch or just need a quick fix, the Clear Creek Colorado whitewater rafting trips are only 30 minutes from the Denver and Boulder areas! Only 1 hour from Summit County and Winter Park.
Prior to your Colorado whitewater rafting adventure, feel free to browse the merchandise in our retail shops. After your whitewater rafting trip you will have the opportunity to purchase one of the printed photos or CDs that our professional photographers shot of you while going through the rapids on your Colorado whitewater rafting adventure.
Arkansas Valley Adventures offers transportation from Keystone and Breckenridge for the Summit Arkansas River Full day and the Summit Colorado River Scenic Float trips.
