Is a
reservation needed?
Reservations are needed to guarantee space. Walk-ins and
short notice trips are welcome but can’t be guaranteed.

What is
needed for a reservation?
A 50% deposit is required to reserve space on trips, with
the balance of payment due 3 days prior to departure.

 What
is the Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations made prior to 14 days before trip, money
will be refunded less a 10% service charge. If cancellations are
made within 14 days and outside 2 days before the trip, money will
be refunded by 50%.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the trip are not refundable.
Change policy: Inside of two weeks of the trip, changes made to the date of the trip or changing what trip you are doing will result in a $10 change fee per person. Changes inside of 48 hours are not available/nonrefundable.
Groups of 10 or more: Cancellations outside of 2 weeks are 90% refundable. Cancellations outside of one week and inside of two weeks are 50% refundable. Cancellations inside of one week are nonrefundable.

You may purchase cancellation insurance.
*Cancel up to 12 hours from trip departure and receive a 90% refund.
*Cancel within 12 hours from trip departure and receive a trip voucher
valid for one year.

Where
do I go & what time should I arrive?
If you are coming to the AVA Outpost for a trip on the
Arkansas River please arrive 45 minutes prior to trip departure.
If you're on a trip out of Keystone or Breckenridge meet at the meeting time on
the trip description. See our Maps

We offer trips suitable for children walking age up to
senior citizens.

 Do
you tip your guide?
Guides work for tips and appreciate them. If your guide meets or beats your expectations, a gratuity of 15-20% is a common guideline—similar to a restaurant.
