Colorado slammed with snow–Rafting season gets boost!

A late spring snowstorm slammed Colorado last weekend with up to 52 inches of heavy, wet snow in some areas. Much of the state received significant snowfall, but the areas west and north of Denver were hit hardest. Over 12,000 people were without power for the weekend or longer.

The storm added a nice boost to the state’s snowpack, with almost all drainages sitting at well over 100%. The storm will contribute most significantly to water in Clear Creek. This river, just 30 miles west of Denver, offers Class III, IV and V sections. Something for everyone.

The rafting season is just around the corner! Don’t miss the incredible deal we’re offering on AVA trips. Get 20% off when you book and pay in full by May 1st! See discount details here.

See you on the river!
