Multiple outposts and pick-up locations throughout Central Colorado are available for your convenience. AVA provides Colorado river rafting vacations for families with children as young as 3 years old on our Upper Colorado Scenic Float trip. Or step that up a notch with a family white water river rafting trip. Most of these trips are Class III whitewater trips. We offer family trips through Brown’s Canyon on the Arkansas River or on Clear Creek’s Beginner white water section. These adventures are tremendous fun for all ages and lifestyles. Rafting Colorado is easy to access from our Idaho Springs Outpost, just thirty miles west of Denver. The Intermediate white water vacation on Clear Creek requires a minimum age of 15 years old, as do our more advanced sections on the Arkansas River and on Gore Canyon on the Colorado River.

I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful 6th Anniversary we had because of you. Yesterday we rafted the Gauntlet. Zach was our guide and was phenomenal. I have never felt more confident on the river. It was our first time rafting a class five and I was a little nervous. My husband and I agreed Zach gave great instructions. We agreed he was the best guide we have ever had. Your staff at the Granite outpost was on top of everything and incredibly cheerful and helpful.
