Multiple outposts and pick-up locations throughout Central Colorado are available for your convenience. AVA provides Colorado river rafting vacations for families with children as young as 3 years old on our Upper Colorado Scenic Float trip.  Or step that up a notch with a family white water river rafting trip. Most of these trips are Class III whitewater trips. We offer family trips through Brown’s Canyon on the Arkansas River or on Clear Creek’s Beginner white water section. These adventures are tremendous fun for all ages and lifestyles.  Are you a fit and active group or family? Vacationing with adventurous teens?  Try AVA’s Intermediate-Advanced Colorado white water river rafting vacations.  Rafting Colorado is easy to access from our Idaho Springs Outpost, just thirty miles west of Denver.  The Intermediate white water vacation on Clear Creek requires a minimum age of 15 years old, as do our more advanced sections on the Arkansas River and on Gore Canyon on the Colorado River.
