Brown’s Canyon half day trip is the perfect way to start your day with class III rapids that wind their way through the gorgeous Brown’s Canyon section of the Arkansas River. After we take a break to enjoy a gourmet lunch by the river we will take to the trees and see a whole new side to the beautiful scenery. The zip line tour offered by AVA will take you high above the ground and sail you through the air at speeds of up to 30mph. Our zip line tours take you through densely wooded areas and rocky mountain faces on our expansive Gold Camp property.

These Colorado zip lines take you to the top of the tree line and next to rocky mountain cliffs for a high-flying adventure. Take in the view at speeds of up to 30mph in our 44-acre Gold Camp property for an experience you’ll never forget. Our zip line tours have a minimum age of 10 and a minimum weight of 75 lb. Make your mountain adventure weekend complete with camping, rafting and an exhilarating zip line tour of Brown’s Canyon. Start the weekend off with a breathtaking view of the Arkansas River from high above as you sail through the tree line and over Colorado wildlife. This Colorado zip line tour will take you through the tree-filled and rocky cliff rich area of our Gold Camp property in Arkansas Valley. Take in the beautiful views of the snow-capped peaks and the Arkansas River at speeds of up to 30mph. After your morning flight and a short break for lunch, we will start our heart-pumping ride through the rapids of Brown’s Canyon. Once we’ve rafting into the canyon we will set up camp for the night and settle down for dinner. When the sun comes up, we’ll break down the campsite and paddle the rest of our way through the canyon for the final part of this adventure-filled trip. Enjoy the best of Clear Creek’s beginner section and the thrill of zip lining in one action-packed day. Our zip line course is perched above our Idaho Springs office just 30 minutes outside of Denver. After a scenic nature hike to get to the start of the course, take on six zips of varying length through the trees and cliffs before crossing over Chicago Creek for an exhilarating finish. After a break for lunch, get ready for a whirlwind introduction to whitewater! This trip packs in eleven Class III rapids as your raft tumbles its way through a small scenic gorge on the Creek. The perfect option for all ability levels! Raft trip: minimum age 6, min weight 50 lbs. Zipline: minimum age 10, minimum weight 75 lbs, max weight 250 lbs.
