Our winter zipline tours take place on a 44-acre piece of beautiful, forested land in the Arkansas Valley, which is conveniently just over an hour drive from Breckenridge, Keystone or Vail. You’ll get amazing views of the Arkansas River and the surrounding snow-capped mountains of the Collegiate Peaks range – the most 14,000-foot peaks in a row in Colorado! You’ll be able to take our transportation from Breckenridge or Keystone, or drive yourself to our Granite Outpost between Leadville and Buena Vista. Once you arrive, we’ll gear you up in your harness, helmet and gloves. After a 10-minute hike (approximately), you’ll arrive at the beginning of your zipline course. You’ll zip down seven lines, including a heart-pumping 900-foot line between our highest rock outdropping and a tree platform 45 feet above the ground!
On the morning trip, you’ll finish your tour with a hearty lunch in our heated yurt. On an afternoon trip, you’ll start with lunch! Warm beverages will be also served along with a huge helping of outdoor winter zipline fun!
Winter Zip Line Tour Schedule
If you took a zip line tour from AVA last summer, you know roughly what you’re in for, but we’ve added and improved! We’ve changed our course flow as well as added two additional lines and replaced one of our previous lines with a 900-foot zip!
