My husband, myself and our two grandchildren took the Brown Canyon rafting trip on Sunday, July 18, 2010.
The kids were fearless being already 9 and 11 and my husband was an experienced rafter but I felt panic stricken and really feared the experience. It was just the 4 of us and our guide in one raft and we had to learn to paddle together in order to succeed.
This experience turned out to be the highlight of our week in Breckenridge, CO! I know that I have never done anything in my life that was as much fun . Our grandchildren are still telling everyone about their adventure.
Thank you AVA for helping to make a memorable trip to Colorado with our grandchildren even more memorable with your expert guides and equipment.

7/8/10 We just returned from our trip down the Gauntlet. It was a perfect day on the river and could not have gone better. Jeb, our guide, was extremely skilled on the river, not even a minor mishap. He kept us entertained with his knowledge of the geography, wildlife and local history. I would recommend this trip to anyone who even has basic rafting experience. My husband and I took a trip with you guys on Friday, June 11. We departed from your new outpost at Idaho Springs. The staff were wonderful – very knowledgeable and our group leader had a great sense of humor. I was a little skeptical about taking the trip – I am not so adventurous – but I am so glad that I went. I had the best time. I don’t think I have smiled and laughed so much in years. I love that you guys had hot coffee and tea waiting for us upon our return – who knew the water would be so cold?
I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking to have a great time white water rafting. I really hope we get to return to Colorado soon.
