Is a reservation needed for my Colorado white water rafting summer vacation?
Most likely, yes. Reservations for your Colorado white water rafting summer vacation are strongly recommended to guarantee space on your trip. Walk-ins and short notice trips are welcome but can’t be guaranteed.
What is needed for a reservation?
A 50% deposit on credit card or by check is required to reserve space on trips. The balance of payment is due 3 days prior to the departure of your Colorado white water rafting trip. For groups of 10 or more, the balance is due one week prior to departure. For select discounts/specials, full payment may be due at time of reservation.
What is the Cancellation Policy for my Colorado white water rafting summer vacation?
For groups of less than 10: Cancellations made prior to 14 days before trip, you will receive a refund of the total cost of the trip less 10% service charge. For cancellations made within 14 days and outside 2 days before the trip, money will be refunded by 50%. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the trip are not refundable.
For groups of 10 or more: Cancellations made prior to 14 days before trip, you will receive a refund of the total cost of the trip less 10% service charge. If cancellations are made within 14 days and outside of 7 days before the trip, money will be refunded by 50%. Cancellation made within 7 days or one week are not refundable.
Do you have Cancellation Insurance?
You may purchase cancellation insurance. With cancellation insurance, you may cancel up until 12 hours before the trip departure time and receive a 90% refund. .
Where do I go & what time should I arrive for my Colorado white water rafting trip?
If you are coming to the Arkansas Valley Adventures Outpost for your Colorado white water rafting trip on the Arkansas River please arrive at the listed check in time in Granite, Colorado. If you’re on a Colorado white water rafting trip out of Keystone or Breckenridge meet at the meeting time on the trip description. If you are coming for your Colorado summer vacation to a river trip on the Clear Creek River please meet in Idaho Springs, Colorado at the listed check-in time. See our Maps page for directions.

What is the minimum or maximum age?
We offer trips suitable for children walking age and up to senior citizens. Arkansas Valley Adventures has a Colorado white water rafting trip for everyone.
Do you tip your guide?
Rafting is a service industry and guides work for tips and appreciate them. If your guide meets or beats your expectations, a gratuity of 15-20% is a common guideline—similar to a restaurant.
