AVA has trips that leave from 7 Colorado locations.
Granite Outpost: All whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River leave from this outpost (except for Summit Arkansas River trips, which include transportation from Keystone or Breckenridge).

This outpost—14 miles north of Buena Vista, 4 miles south of Granite and 19 miles south of Leadville—makes for an easy and beautiful drive from Aspen, Vail, Summit County, Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs.
In addition to Colorado whitewater rafting trips, Arkansas Valley Adventures offers guided rock climbing, fly fishing and horseback riding trips in the Arkansas Valley.
Prior to your Colorado whitewater rafting trip on the Arkansas River, Arkansas Valley Adventures recommends camping out the night before at one of our onsite campsites, or staying in one of our rustic log cabin bunkhouses.
After your Colorado whitewater rafting trip you are welcome to use the Arkansas Valley Adventure facility showers and changing rooms provided.

I-70, exit 240. South side of interstate. From the east: at the end of the offramp, take a left and go over the overpass. From the west: at the end of the offramp, take a right. Both: Continue up Hwy 103 about 1/4 of a mile. We are on the left.
