Arkansas Valley Adventures’ Kremmling Outpost is located in the beautiful mountains of Colorado and is convenient to Summit County, Vail, Winter Park, Lake Granby and Rocky Mountain National Park. The most popular rafting trips launching from our Kremmling Outpost go down the “Little Gore” section of the famous Colorado River. This scenic float trip is great for families and can be done in a raft or inflatable kayaks.

The second half of the summer, we also run Gore Canyon rafting trips from the Kremmling Outpost. These trips are for serious paddlers and anyone looking for a high energy day. This advanced section of river has trips available from August 5th to September 5th when the water level is at its highest.
Gore Canyon Rafting is what makes this section of the Colorado River notoriously challenging and a great adventure for experienced rafters. Gore Canyon runs 6 miles with very little rest between rapids and some of the quickest drops for any rafter.
If you’re thinking about Colorado scenery and hoping to catch the best of the Rocky Mountains while you’re here, the Kremmling area is for you! About an hour from Winter Park and 40 miles from Summit County, Kremmling is situated deep in the heart of the Rockies. The beautiful scenery and closeness to nature make the whitewater rafting here one of a kind.
If you’re closer to Denver, check out our Idaho Springs Outpost for a quick rafting trip 30 minuted from downtown. Our Breckenridge Outpost has river trips that leave from the Breckenridge area, or come to our Buena Vista Outpost in southwest Colorado.
