Our Clear Creek Outpost is based in the historic mining town of Idaho Springs. Located just off Interstate 70 and only 40 minutes from Denver, this Clear Creek whitewater rafting trip is the perfect rafting adventure for all ages and ability levels.
- 1/3-day beginner rafting Class II/III
- Meets at our Idaho Springs/Clear Creek Outpost
- Trip Duration: approx. 1 1/2 hours on the river (can be less time with higher water levels)
- Approximately 7 miles of travel down river
- Multiple departure times per day
- Minimum requirements: 6 years old and 50 lbs.
- Rafts accommodate approx. 7-8 people plus the guide
- Wetsuits, splash jackets, life jackets and helmets are provided
- Great introduction to whitewater rafting
- Only 40 minutes from Denver and under 1 hour from Boulder, Winter Park and Summit County
- 11 Class III rapids
