There is just enough time to warm up before you drop into the first Class IV rapid on this thrilling stretch of Clear Creek whitewater rafting! Just minutes from Denver, this continuous, steep, technical section will keep your paddle moving and your heart pounding as you crash through Class III-IV rapids such as Nomad and Phoenix Holes and Outer Limits.
Our Clear Creek Outpost is based in the historic mining town of Idaho Springs. Located just off Interstate 70 and under 40 minutes from Denver, this Clear Creek rafting trip is perfect for those looking for a whitewater rafting adventure close to the Front Range, Winter Park or Summit County!

- 1/2 day Intermediate Class III & IV
- Close to Denver, Boulder, Winter Park and Summit County
- Meets at our Clear Creek/Idaho Springs Outpost
- Minimum requirements: 15 years old and good physical condition
- Trip Duration: 2-2 ½ hours on the river (varies with water levels)
- Approximately 10 miles of travel down river
- Multiple departure times per day
- Rafts can accommodate up to 7 people plus the guide
- Wetsuits, splash jackets, life jackets and helmets are provided
- Best Clear Creek Whitewater Rafting Season May-early August
