The white water rafting season will end this Labor Day weekend and we don’t want you to miss out on the tremendous whitewater we’ve had this summer. Only a short drive from Denver, our Idaho Springs outpost hosts river trips down the Arkansas River through Brown’s Canyon and Clear Creek.
Clear Creek Rafting is some of the most exciting whitewater rafting in Colorado and Arkansas Valley Adventure can take you on a wild ride through Clear Creek Canyon or a quieter trip with enough down time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The Arkansas River is by far the most popular river to raft in Colorado and its diversity in rafting difficulty is the biggest reason why. You can spend anywhere from a half day to three days and two nights in Brown’s Canyon. This stretch of the Arkansas is the tamest, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get wet! Snow, snow everywhere! Colorado’s runoff so far has been beautifully slow and steady but with some (finally) seasonally warm weather things are starting to melt and the whitewater rafting in Colorado is getting to be exceptional. The trips so far have been awesome and fun.
