Family Reunions

Family Reunions

Yes, You Can Please Everyone!

There is serious pressure when you're planning a family reunion: get it wrong and you'll be the butt of the family jokes for years to come. That's where we come in. Our informative website and our knowledgable staff will help you find the perfect trip for the whole family -without a ton of added stress.

Book a whitewater rafting trip, zipline tour or other summer adventure activity and your family will be hoisting you on their shoulders and chanting your name.

Seriously, it's easy to make everyone happy with our wide range of whitewater rafting trips. HOW TO CHOOSE A TRIP? When planning a group trip, we always recommend you go for the "lowest common denominator." That means that most of the time you need to book that trip that is appropriate for the youngest kids or the meekest in the group. The others will still have a blast, we promise.

Because we often have several trip choices in one location, you may also want to consider splitting your group up (half on the family whitewater section, half on the advanced trip to appease the adrenaline junkies). You can always reconvene at our Outposts afterwards for cold drinks, snacks and to recall the tales of your day.

Or plan a half day raft trip + half day zipline tour and let family members sign up for what sounds fun to them.

We're happy to help you figure out the details of your family reunion trip. Contact our Group Sales Coordinator at groups@coloradorafting.net or call 970-423-7031

The activities provided by AVA will provide your family with memories that will last forever.

If your family reunion is near Vail, Beaver Creek or Summit County, the Upper Colorado Rafting trip includes soft paddling and calm waters with a few fun riffles. We also have inflatable kayaks for the older members of your group who may want little bit more of an adventure.

If you’re staying close to Denver, we have several trips leaving from Idaho Springs at our Clear Creek Outpost that make for great 1/3 day, 1/2 day or full-day activities for any reunion. Also enjoy our incredible new zip line tours that will begin in June!

Starting in Colorado Springs, Aspen or Summit County? – Check out an Arkansas River rafting trip and consider adding a Zipline Tour as well.

We'll help you plan a family reunion trip that will make lasting, glowing memories you'll rehash for years to come.
