It’s nearing our favorite time of the year, where the beer will be flowing and the streets filled with folks dressed head to toe in traditional German attire.  The fall colors are starting to peak through on the trees and soon we’ll watch the mountains transform into a sea of yellow.  If you’ve decided to head to Breckenridge for Oktoberfest this year, there’s plenty of activities you can pair with the festivities this weekend.  Check out these four adventures near Breckenridge, Colorado to add to your schedule next weekend.

1. Via Ferrata

Location: Buena Vista, Colorado

Here’s the deal with the Breckenridge 2018 Oktoberfest

It all starts Friday, September 7th and between that collectable stein you’ll scoop up, a 5K run, Bavarian dancers, and even a keg-tapping ceremony, Oktoberfest in Breckenridge, Colorado is always one to remember.  The Main Street party starts at 2:00PM on Friday, September 7th and the festivities won’t let up until 5:00PM on Sunday.
