The perfect free Colorado outdoor activity, hiking is an awesome way to get outside, experience nature first hand, and spend time with people you care about. There so many amazing hiking trails throughout Colorado, it would take years to concur them all. There are short hikes like the Sawmill Creek Trail, located in Breckenridge, which is just 1.5 miles round trip and leads up to a beautiful hidden reservoir. There are also longer trails like the Gore Range Trail which begins at Copper Mountain and finished all the way in the Spring Creek area north of Green Mountain Reservoir. Hiking is a perfect way to get the most out of your fall season and experience the incredible landscape of Colorado.
Last but not least, another great way to experience the fall foliage in Colorado is by soaring through the trees themselves on AVA’s adrenaline rushing Cliffside Zipline.
