Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival

It's time to make your plans to attend the Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival! This unique festival takes place in the stunning setting of Breckenridge. This event is hosted by Breckenridge Distillery, who has racked up award after award since its inception. You might be asking… could whiskey distilled above 8,500 feet be any different from your local liquor store? Well, as it turns out it is really different! This is just one of many new things to learn at this classic western affair.

New to the distillery is their award winning vodkas. With some unique flavors to offer, it too is surprising many with it's smoothness and tastefulness and will be on display for all to enjoy this week. The distillery attributes its success to “the careful mingling of casks at each bottling” and the “mineralogy of the Breckenridge snowmelt water.” Both add flavor and body to the distillery’s bourbon, vodka, and bitters. You might think these guys are on to something, but experience it for yourself at the very poplular tasting room at 137 Main St. Now the time has come to take this local artistry up for yourself as you enjoy the changing of the seasons the right way at the 2015 Craft and Spirts Festival.

The “Still on the Hill” : a Grand Tasting of handcrafted spirits on Saturday, October 24th at 4pm at the Riverwalk Center, in the heart of Breckenridge. Admission provides a complimentary tasting glass, delicious craft spirits tasting, craft cocktails, people's choice voting, artisanal snacks and don’t forget soak in the live music on this incredible backdrop. These events take place on October 23-25th on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Festival.

Other things to consider during the festival are the local restaurants' discounts, tastings and specials on the bourbon and vodka we are all celebrating!
