Kremmling, Colorado is a beautiful town tucked away  about 100 miles west of Denver. Kremmling’s elevation is 7,364ft and is located at the junction of U.S Highway 9 and U.S 40. The Colorado River runs through Kremmling and is a great place for rafting, hiking, and biking. There are many trails near the town to take wonderful hikes and explore. Whether it is an easy hike or something more adventurous, you can find anything you’re looking. Ranging in all ability levels of hiking in and around Kremmling there is something for everyone.

Gore Canyon Trail- This is a 1.5 mile hike each way. With easy terrain upstream of the Colorado River and a mild elevation gain of about 160 ft, this trail is perfect for all levels of hikers. This trail starts right off of the Pump House put-in and take-out, allowing for an awesome day of rafting and hiking.

Yarmony Trail- This is a shorter hike, offering great places to stop and fly fish. With awesome places to relax and take in the scenery of the Kremmling area, this place is not short of stunning scenery.

Fraser River Trail- While only a half mile each way, this hike is not short of lovely mountain views. This is a great trail to warm the legs up for hiking season!

Wolford Mountain trail- This is a longer hike and requires a bit of an earlier start. However, if not hiking and maybe horseback riding or trail running, you can be sure to knock this hike out by lunch time!

North Sand Hills Hiking- This whole area provides unparalleled access to amazing trail heads that will lead you up to breathtaking sites.
