There are so many rivers with incredible whitewater in the West that the list could go on for days.  Not even mentioned above is anything east of the Mississippi River, including top notch whitewater in the Carolinas and West Virginia.  The most important part of planning your 2018 adventures is preparation.  With the majority of these application deadlines being at the end of January, if you snooze, you lose when it comes to rafting where you want this year.

If you’re not sure where you and your crew want to raft, check out these suggestions by Rafting America.  Do you know what gear you need and what you’re getting yourselves into?  Whitewater can become intense, and it is very important your group knows how to navigate rapids comfortably and have a solid amount of experience on the water.  If you aren’t ready for a solo excursion just yet, come on an adventure with AVA Rafting & Zipline!  We raft some of the most popular whitewater in the country in Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River, as well as part of the most continuous sections of whitewater in the state of Colorado on Clear Creek.  AVA’s float trips on the Colorado River are as much scenic as they are fun for the whole family, too.  Let us take the stress of the permits and gear off of your shoulders!  Our experienced guides will teach your group the in’s and out’s of rafting and you’ll get to enjoy a day on the water.
