Overnight TripWhen considering your 2016 summer vacation, your mind often wanders to white sand beaches, fruity cocktails, 90 degree weather and a nice tropical breeze. This is the image that runs through just about everyone’s mind during these cold winter months. For those who are more interested in adventure over leisure, you may see yourself skydiving or doing a multi day backpacking trip through the mountains. For those looking for both, there are excellent options waiting for you in Colorado. We may not have 90 degree weather everyday but you do not want to miss your opportunity to book a multiday rafting trip through Colorado’s wild and scenic Rocky Mountains.

Here at AVA we have come up with the perfect mix of leisure and adventure for your 2016 summer trip. Our multiday trips offer anywhere from a 3 day mellow float to a 2 day Advanced to mixture of the two on our 3 day Mild to Wild. The crowd favorite always tends to be our 24 Hours in Browns Canyon as it offers a mix of both leisure and adventure in a 24 hour period. The 24 Hours in Browns Canyon is a class III trip that kicks off with a half day of whitewater on a 6 person raft and finishes the day with a couple hours of downtime just before sunset that is perfect for kayaking, fly fishing and relaxing. The following day we will complete the class III section and get you back to your cars right around 1pm.

If you are not the biggest fan of camping do not worry as our guides will do the heavy lifting. They will take care of everything ranging from setting up the tents to cooking all of the meals. Don’t miss your chance to have an epic summer trip this year and begin planning now! For more information on our trips don’t hesitate to give us a call at (800) 370-0581.
