19 years ago, AVA Rafting and Ziplining was founded and we have been paddling since. Founded by raft guides, we have been consistently known as the best and largest rafting outfitter in the state. All in all, AVA has 150+ employees and each one is a huge asset. From the office to the rivers, each employee is crucial to the company. Being an AVA employee is not only about being loyal, but it’s also about the love of the rivers.
With that being said, let’s talk about the folks here in the company. AVA has three outposts and a call center. The call center is where all reservations come in. While the phones are ringing off the hook here, our Sales Agents help match you with the best rafting trip for your group. Upon your arrival to our outposts, our lovely check in staff greets you and ensures you have everything you need to get started on your rafting trip. After that, whether you are rafting or ziplining, you get geared up and meet the folks who make it all happen, our guides! Every morning our guides wake up bright and early for guide call, figure out who all is rafting and zipping, and get the gear gathered up. Once all the logistics are handled our guides’ days look a lot like yours! Smiling and having fun on the river or on our zip courses. After enjoying the day outdoors, our guides and check in staff clean and organize all the gear for the next day of adventure!
