On Your Via Ferrata Adventure

Mountainside Excitement

A Via Ferrata adventure may truly be the most exciting way to experience Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. You’ll take two ziplines to the starting point of this climb, then traverse high above the Arkansas River Valley along the granite cliffside. This assisted climbing experience involves using iron rungs, bars, and other features built into the cliffside to maneuver along and across.

You’ll use a cable system to clip in and out of the cliffside the entire way, cross a hanging bridge, then experience the stomach dropping excitement of our flight line. This feature safely drops you 78 feet after which you continue the climbing experience with more features, including a rappel.

Not only is the scenery unparalleled, but our Via Ferrata course is built directly into the Colorado mountainside compared to raised courses on platforms.

FAQs

This exhilarating experience is suitable for individuals with a reasonable level of physical fitness. To participate in our Via Ferrata course, participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh a minimum of 75 pounds, as the climbing elements can pose a moderate challenge. While prior climbing experience is not necessary, guests should be prepared for 3 hours on their feet and be comfortable climbing ladders.

Rest assured, our Via Ferrata courses prioritize safety above all else and strictly adhere to established safety standards. Throughout the excursion, participants are securely connected to the cliffside via a harness and a reliable 2-cable system. As you navigate the course, you’ll continuously clip in and out of these cables, ensuring constant connection to the cliffside. It’s worth noting that the design prevents the possibility of simultaneously unclipping from both cables, providing an added layer of security throughout the adventure.
