We want you to have a great experience with your family, so at AVA we offer trips for kids as young as 2 year olds and as old as 100! With 3 different outposts you are always close to an AVA location! Take a look here for all the family fun you could be having no matter where you are!
For 2 year olds and up consider taking our scenic float trip. Float down the Colorado River while our guides start a water gun fight, or enjoy cliff jumping and hot springs.The floaty fun rapids are great for young kids and families who don’t mind a more mellow paddling pace. This scenic float trip can be a half day, a full day, or even a fun filled overnight trip!
Want to introduce your kids to the class III rapids? Well we have the perfect trip for you and your little adventurers! With the Blue River accommodating kids as young as 5 years old, the Gold Rush trip allowing kids as young as 6 years old, and Browns Canyon as young a 7 years old, there are sure to be enough paddling opportunities for all the future river runners!
Maybe you want to take your high schoolers or college kids on a wild ride! Well never fear because AVA has big whitewater sure to thrill! If your kids are 15 years or older try out one of raging class IV or V whitewater trips on Clear Creek or the Arkansas River.
Don’t forget about our zipline courses at both of our outposts in Idaho Springs and Granite. Zip through the mountains and trees. Be careful though you might have a sore face from smiling too much.
