Via Ferrata
Climb high into Colorado’s cliffsides on our Via Ferrata courses located in Idaho Springs and Buena Vista. This outdoor adventure delivers a unique mountaineering experience complete with ladders, cables, suspension bridges, iron steps, and ziplines. Our experienced guides place safety at the forefront of your trip, and we and outfit you with all required equipment. The Mount Blue Sky Via Ferrata showcases sky-high bridges, exciting climbs, and several lines of our zipline course, while the Granite Via Ferrata in Buena Vista begins with a zipline launch, offers breathtaking views of the Arkansas River Valley, a scaling experience along the majestic Collegiate Peaks, and completes the experience with a heart-pounding 80-foot freefall!

AVA provides meticulously crafted full-day packages that combine activities like ziplining, rafting, via ferrata, and rock climbing, allowing guests to customize their experience based on personal interests and skill levels.
AVA has locations across the state of Colorado. Our primary outposts are located in Idaho Springs, Kremmling, Buena Vista and Breckenridge. We also raft out of the Fort Collins, Glenwood Springs, Canon City and Durango in Colorado and Globe, Arizona.

AVA Rafting & Zipline started its love affair with the great outdoors in 1998 as a rafting company. While rafting remains our bread and butter, we have expanded our adventure options to better provide the true Colorado experience. Throughout the existence of AVA, it has been our goal to advance the industry of whitewater rafting and of adventure outfitters. From our guides and staff to outposts, equipment, trip offerings and level of service, we strive to set the bar at every turn.
