You’ll be in awe at the scenery along the Lower Canyon portion of Clear Creek, as well as the impressive 150 feet/mile gradient of this stretch of whitewater. Class V rapids will keep you paddling and your heart pounding through some intense rapids such as Guide Ejector, Hell’s Corner, and Corkscrew. You’ll take a short breather after you get out of the river to break for lunch and refuel before you head up the cliffside. AVA’s Via Ferrata tour will introduce you to mountaineering by having you traverse along iron rungs, try some assisted rock climbing, rappel down a 70-foot rock face, and indulge in a 50-foot free fall. You’ll finish up the adventure with three ziplines above Chicago Creek.
