AVA offers horseback riding at 2 convenient locations in central Colorado. Our most diverse offerings are just north of Summit County and close to our Upper Colorado River rafting trips. We offer several trail rides in the Arkansas River Valley which can easily be combined with an Arkansas River whitewater trip or zipline tour.

WHAT TO WEAR ON YOUR HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

You should wear long pants, and close toed shoes (sneakers or boots) while you are horseback riding and bring a jacket. We also recommend wearing sunscreen, a hat and bug spray during our trip as well.

WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

We always recommend bringing a camera because you will be riding through the most beautiful parts of the county. If you are going to be rafting as well then make sure you bring a change of clothes for that portion of your trip.
