A. Arrival Day – Aspen
B. Day 1 – Aspen Loop Ride
Begin your cycling adventure with a scenic loop through the Roaring Fork Valley. Following the Rio Grande Trail, you’ll ride past rivers, meadows, and ranchland with sweeping views of the Elk Mountains. This warm-up ride is a perfect introduction, ending back in Aspen for a second night in town. (Approx. 25 miles)
C. Day 2 – Aspen to Glenwood Springs
Ride down-valley along the Roaring Fork River, following paved bike paths through charming towns and forests. Your destination is Glenwood Springs, a lively mountain town where you can soak in the hot springs or enjoy craft dining downtown. (Approx. 40 miles)
D. Day 3 – Glenwood Springs to Palisade
The morning offers an optional short ride around Glenwood Springs, before a van transfer takes you to Palisade, the heart of Colorado’s wine country. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed happy hour vineyard ride, with short loops through riverside wineries where you can taste local varietals and catch live music. Dinner tonight is at one of Palisade’s celebrated farm-to-table restaurants. (Approx. 10–15 miles optional + vineyard ride)
E. Day 4 – Fruit & Wine Byway Ride
Spend the day exploring the full Fruit & Wine Byway, a scenic loop winding through orchards, vineyards, and farmland framed by dramatic mesas. Along the way, you can stop at tasting rooms, sample fresh produce, and soak in the atmosphere of this fertile valley. This is the crown jewel of Palisade cycling—an experience blending culture, scenery, and flavor. (Approx. 25 miles)
F. Departure Day – Palisade / Grand Junction
Enjoy a leisurely morning before your departure. From June through early October, your finale can include a visit to Palisade’s lively Sunday Farmers Market, filled with local produce, crafts, and music. After checkout, transfer to Grand Junction for your departing flight.
