The second adventure will allow you to relax on the water on our half day Colorado River scenic float trip. This adventure will take you through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland, where you’ll paddle through a few smaller, class II-III rapids. This trip allows plenty of time for sunbathing, swimming, and relaxing, and an exhilarating jump point, if water levels permit. As you paddle one of America’s most iconic and impressive rivers, be sure to keep your eye out for bald eagles or bighorn sheep!

Delve into the rugged trails of Kremmling and the Wolford Mountain Recreation Area, where rugged trails await exploration. Navigate challenging terrain, soak in its awe-inspiring scenery, and test your skills on the rugged paths of Fossil Ridge. Traverse the tranquil trails of Muddy Creek Pass, and marvel at the panoramic views of Red Dirt Reservoir, where the earthy landscape unfolds in every direction. Keep your a look out for  antelope, mule deer, elk,  coyotes, hawks, and majestic eagles.

This majestic scenery continues along the Colorado River. Amidst the breathtaking Gore Range, lush greenery contrasts with sandy dirt and impressive rock formations. The Colorado River showcases its majestic features as it winds from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California, with this stretch being no exception. Keep an eye out for bighorn sheep, bald eagles, and endangered fish species during your float trip along this captivating waterway.
