Rafting Near Arches & Canyonlands National Parks

One of the biggest advantages of this trip is its proximity to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. The Fisher Towers section offers the same dramatic desert landscapes, towering rock formations, expansive canyon views, and remote wilderness, but from a completely different perspective on the water.

Pair your overnight rafting trip with a visit to the parks to experience Moab from both above and below. It’s one of the most complete ways to explore the region—and often the most memorable part of the trip.

FAQs

No experience is required. This trip is beginner-friendly on the water, and your guides handle all camping setup, meals, and logistics, making it easy even if you’ve never camped before.

You’ll camp along the river at a designated site. Tents are typically provided, and you can bring your own sleeping bag or rent one. Expect a comfortable but rustic outdoor experience under the stars.

All meals are included, typically lunch and dinner on Day 1, and breakfast on Day 2. Guides prepare fresh, hearty meals at camp, and dietary restrictions can often be accommodated with advance notice.

The Fisher Towers section features Class I–II rapids, making it a mild and scenic float. The overnight trip adds time and camping, but not additional whitewater difficulty.

The full-day trip gives you more time on the river than a half-day, while the overnight adds camping, additional river mileage, and a deeper level of immersion. If you want the most complete experience, the overnight is the way to go.
