On Your Whitewater Canoe Adventure

Canoeing at Colorado River

Excitement the whole way

Your adventure begins at AVA’s Kremmling Outpost, where you’ll gear up and get a full safety rundown before hitting the water. On this unique canoe trip, you’ll paddle through calm stretches and splashy Class I–II rapids—perfect for beginners ages 10 and up. As you wind through the scenic Gore Range and mountain ranchlands, take time to swim, relax, and even spot a natural hot spring along the riverbank.

AVA is a Licensed River Outfitter – Issued by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under a special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

  • Waterproof sunscreen & sunglasses

Our Upper Colorado River Scenic Float rafting trip welcomes adventurers as young as 2 years old on a half day or full day adventure on mellow Class II rapids. While in Kremmling, be sure to also try one of our Fly Fishing excursions or kick up dirt on our UTV Rentals!

You will find our Kremmling outpost just 45 minutes from Summit County and just under two hours from Denver.
