Top 3 Favorite Rafting Blogs in 2014

The high snowfall in 2014 brought epic amount of snowmelt creating awesome rafting conditions. With such great rafting it is no wonder paddlers across the US and around the world had adventures to write about and stories to share! Below you will find just a few of our favorite blogs that contain some epic adventures, great resources for paddlers, water conditions, and information on the latest gear.

Where is Baer? If you have ever rafted some of our upstream trips on the Arkansas River you may have had Chris Baer as your guide. Baer has been with us for a while now, but when he is not guiding our guests down Gore Canyon or the Arkansas, he is off galavanting and adventuring on his own. We certainly enjoy hearing about his latest outings and when Baer can’t regale us in his adventures we catch up with him on his blog!

NRS is leading company in creating and delivering premier watersport goods. Their passion and love for the water is clearly shown through the quality gear they have continued to produce over the years, which is exactly why we love NRS! NRS has a great following of dedicated paddlers and water sport enthusiasts and it shows through their community and blogs in the Duct Tape Diaries, making it one of our favorite blogs!

Kayaking, rafting, and paddling is not for everyone. However, for the people who love the water, rafting, or whatever have you is a way of life. People base their lives around their ability to paddle year round.  Follow the adventures and ramblings of some crazy paddlers on Dirt Bag Paddlers blog!

While we enjoy reading adventures of our own guides, catching up with the latest industry gear, and reading humorous adventure stories from fellow paddlers, we still think our AVA blog is the best! If looking for the latest information on rivers, industry trends, or local Colorado news, our AVA blog is a must read!
