Don’t miss out on whitewater rafting this summer!

The white water rafting season will end this Labor Day weekend and we don’t want you to miss out on the tremendous whitewater we’ve had this summer. Only a short drive from Denver, our Idaho Springs outpost hosts river trips down the Arkansas River through Browns Canyon and Clear Creek. Clear Creek Rafting is some of the most exciting whitewater rafting in Colorado and Arkansas Valley Adventure can take you on a wild ride through Clear Creek Canyon or a quieter trip with enough down time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The Arkansas River is by far the most popular river to raft in Colorado and its diversity in rafting difficulty is the biggest reason why. You can spend anywhere from a half day to three days and two nights in Browns Canyon. This stretch of the Arkansas is the tamest, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get wet! River trips in Browns Canyon can be complimented with one or two nights of camping in the Colorado wilderness if you’d like to turn your rafting experience into a weekend getaway. Pine Creek has some of the most heart-pumping rapids this side of the Mississippi and if you’re a seasoned paddler, this trip is a must! The section of the river known as The Numbers has rapids that seemed to daunting to navigate and were never properly named. Convinced that no one would be crazy enough to brave the whitewater here, they were simply named number 1-7. One of the magnificent attractions in Colorado is the famous Royal Gorge Bridge. As the world’s highest suspension bridge, it spans the width of the Royal Gorge at over 1050 feet.

Don’t miss out on the unique experience of seeing the bridge from below as you paddle through rapids ranging from class III to class V in an unbelievable ride down the Arkansas. Labor Day weekend is almost here! Make your reservations now and have the time of your life on one of our unforgettable whitewater rafting trips in Colorado. It’s the perfect way to end the summer and spend some time with your friends and family.
