Best Brunch in Breckenridge

There’s not much better than than catching up on some sleep on a weekend and starting off the day with a delicious brunch. Après ski might be one of the most popular meal times in Breckenridge, but the town also knows how to brunch with the best of them. If you are looking for the town’s best spots to enjoy bloody marys and huevos rancheros, look no further! We’ve compiled a list of the best restaurants to grab brunch in Breckenridge.

Blue River Bistro

If I could start every morning off with Blue River Bistro’s short rib hash, trust me, I would. Affectionately known as “The Bistro”, this hot-spot is located on the north end of Main Street near Watson Avenue. Prepare for a tough decision, as the menu is jam-packed with some incredible dishes. Looking for a brunch with a Mexican twist? All you need is the red chilaquiles! If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, give the lox eggs benedict a try. No matter what you settle on, you won’t walk away from The Bistro hungry!

Brunch is served weekends, 10am-3pm, click here to view the restaurant’s full hours and menus.  In 2021, the Blue River Bistro also opened Bistro North in Dillon, Colorado, which also offers a delicious brunch menu!

Blue Moose

The Blue Moose, located on Main Street, offers a wide variety of omelets, benedicts, scrambles, and Mexican style favorites, alongside sweeter options such as French toast and pancakes. With a plethora of options and substitutions available, the Blue Moose caters to all tastes and diets. The Blue Moose serves its breakfast menu during its opening hours of 7am-1pm. We are especially excited to try one of their breakfast scrambles and cheesy grits!

BoLD

BoLD is located in the village of Breckenridge and is your go-to spot for some delicious bloody marys, spectacular views, and incredible food. Sit outside on the deck and take in the sites as you enjoy Moroccan baked eggs, shrimp & grits, or a smoked salmon benedict. Looking for something a little sweeter? Check out their variety of waffles and pancakes, including the strawberry shortcake or chicken and waffles.

Check out BoLD’s full brunch menu, served 8am-2pm. Most items can also be made gluten free and all eggs used are cage free! The restaurant also offers Mediterranean-inspired lunch and dinner menus, as well as happy hour everyday from 2pm-6pm. Be sure to come back (or stick around) to try out the spanakopita or Moroccan chicken skewers!

The Columbine Café

This town favorite is located in the heart of Breck on South Main Street. The Columbine Cafe is open everyday, 7:30am to 1:30pm, with lunch starting at 11am and breakfast served until close. Favorites include huevos rancheros and a variety of classic omelets and scrambles; check out their full menu before you go, or choose when you arrive-with so many options, you can’t go wrong! The classic brunch spot is known to fill up quickly, but the food is well worth the wait.
