Here are just a couple of our favorite ideas for Weekend Getaways in Colorado:

OVERNIGHT RIVER ADVENTURE + HOT SPRINGS 

Friday:

• Fly into Denver (or head out if you already live there)
• Drive to Buena Vista, about 2 ½ hours from Denver
• Stay at Cottonwood Hot Springs 

Saturday:

• Breakfast at the Evergreen Café in Buena Vista
• Check in to AVA for your 2 Day Advanced Rafting Trip. Includes camping on the river, 3 meals + snack, wetsuits and more.

Sunday:

• Finish rafting trip about 12:30
• Grab lunch in Leadville on your way back to Denver
• Hit the trendy eats in downtown Denver
  

Monday: Fly Home

 

URBAN ADVENTURE + MOUNTAIN MANIA

Friday:

• Fly into Denver, check into your hotel downtown
• Pre-game drinks and dinner at the Wynkoop
• Catch a Rockies game. 

Saturday:

• Drive to Idaho Springs
• Cliffside Zipline Tour or Via Ferrata with AVA
• Lunch in Idaho Springs at Smokin’ Yards BBQ
• Upper Clear Creek Rafting Trip
  
• Return to Denver, grab a b-cycle rental bike and bike the Cherry Creek bike path to dinner
  

Sunday

• Grab breakfast at Snooze
• Check out Red Rocks in Morrison
• Tour at the Great Divide Brewing Company 
• Fly home
  

DOUBLE DUTY WHITEWATER

Friday:

• Fly to Denver (or head out if you already live there)
• Drive to our Granite Outpost
• Stay in one of our rustic cabins on site
  

Saturday:

• Check in for your Brown’s Canyon Sizzler full day rafting trip
• Hit dinner at the Asian Palate
• Soak at Cottonwood Hot Springs

Sunday:

• Check in for your Gauntlet advanced rafting trip through Pine Creek & The Numbers
• Take a hike on the Whipple Trail in Buena Vista before heading back to Denver
