How a package works
A. First Activity
Our multi-adventure packages represent a unique opportunity that allows you to complete two different outdoor activities in one full day of adventure. In the morning, you will meet your guide at our outpost to gear up for your first rafting, zipline, Via Ferrata, rock climbing, or UTV rental adventure. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled trip time to check in and gear up. Your guide will help fit all required gear and explain the day’s exciting itinerary! You’ll spend the morning on the river or high up in the mountains, with your first activity lasting 3-4 hours.

After your morning activity, you will return with your guide to our outpost. Here, your group will break for lunch, so you can refuel for the second half of the day’s excitement! Depending on your trip and location, a lunch will be provided, or your group will have the opportunity to head into town for a bite to eat. For adventurers really looking to maximize their time, some trips offer an express version, allowing you to bypass a lunch break and head straight into your next activity. No matter what your lunch break looks like, your guide will communicate with you about your meeting location and time.

After lunch, you will regroup with your guide at our outpost. He/she will ensure your group is ready for your next adventure before packing up and heading out on the water or into the cliffside. This adventure will be just as thrilling as the last, as you spend the second half of the day exploring Colorado’s great outdoors. After 3-4 hours, you will again return to the outpost, where you can check out photos from your trip, as well as purchase souvenirs. Be sure to thank and tip your guide, as they are the backbone of all our exciting adventures!

Raft + Zipline
Paddle Colorado’s best whitewater, and soar among the treetops in one full day of adventure. Combine a family-friendly float or a high-adrenaline class IV whitewater experience with a zipline adventure. AVA offers whitewater rafting and zipline packages at both our Idaho Springs and Buena Vista outposts, with options for everyone, no matter where your Colorado trip takes you.
Raft + Via Ferrata
With a rafting and Via Ferrata package, you can spend half the day rafting one of Colorado’s best rivers and the other half climbing high into the Rocky Mountains. This full-day experience allows you to choose from class II floats to class V rapids while ensuring an adrenaline rush on our Via Ferrata course. Spend your day exploring the Arkansas River Valley in Buena Vista, or join us for an action-packed day on Clear Creek and high above the Front Range at our Idaho Springs outpost.
Raft + Rock Climb
At our Buena Vista outpost, a unique full-day rafting and rock-climbing experience awaits. Your experienced guides will coach you as you defy gravity on the crags and cliffs above the Arkansas River Valley and then splash your way down some of the best rapids in the country on the iconic Arkansas River. Options for all ability levels means we can help you put together the perfect package for everyone in your party.
Rock Climb + Zipline
Join AVA for two incredible aerial adventures in the great Rocky Mountains. There’s no better place to traverse the cliffside, reach the top of your first climb, and launch yourself from AVA’s unique zipline platforms built directly into the mountains. Located at our Buena Vista location, this adventure package allows you to explore the Arkansas River Valley from above, gaining the best views of Colorado’s stunning scenery.
Raft + UTV Rentals
Our UTV Rentals and Whitewater Rafting package allows you to ride across Colorado’s great outdoors, kick up some mud, and then wash it all off out on the water. This package includes a 2-hour ride on our RZR Turbo side-by-side rental combined with our half-day scenic float trip. Both exciting adventures will take place from our Kremmling, Colorado outpost.

Packages are ideal for those looking to make the most of their time in Colorado, as well as those looking to try out more than one activity. By choosing an adventure package, you not only maximize your time in the mountains, but save money compared to booking two separate trips.
With our prepackaged multi-adventure trips, we offer guests the opportunity to participate in two different adventures. These full-day experiences include combinations of rafting, zipline, Via Ferrata, UTV rentals, and rock-climbing trips. If your group is looking for something different, however, we will happily work with you to create your unique adventure package, which can include as many adventures as you wish!
All three of our outposts in Buena Vista, Idaho Springs, and Kremmling host multi-adventure package opportunities. At our Buena Vista outpost, choose from rafting + zipline, rafting + Via Ferrata, or zipline + rock climb. From our Idaho Springs outpost, visitors can also participate in rafting + zipline and rafting + Via Ferrata adventures, and our Kremmling outpost offers our unique rafting + UTV rental package.
On some of our multi-adventure package trips, lunch is provided between adventures. On others, guests may grab a bite to eat in town or pack their own lunch. Please check individual trip pages for specific lunch details.

Try one of our Adventure Packages and combine Whitewater Rafting with Ziplining, a Via Ferrata, course, UTV Rentals, or Rock Climbing, or choose a full day aerial adventure experience.
